Dear Students and Parents:

This is the place to go to for finding out important news and homework for students of Room 103 of St. Mary of Williamston School. Please remember that students should not spend more than 30 minutes working on homework.  If the work takes longer than that, please write on the assignments not finished: “My child has spent 30 minutes doing homework, but did not finish this work.”  No points will then be deducted from the student’s work and he/she will be allowed extra time to finish the work without a loss of credit.

Homework for tonight is:

  1. Study for Social Studies Test (Grades 4 and 5) tomorrow.  If students study for 15 minutes at least and have a parent sign their planner or study guide, they will earn 5% of extra credit for tomorrow’s test.
  2. Spelling: Grade 4 needs to finish gluing and organizing sorting cards on purple construction paper and Grade 5 needs to finish page 33.  Both of these assignments were started in class and should be mostly done already.
  3. Mathematics: Grade 5 needs to finish problems 13-30 in Check Your Progress on page 60.  Grade 4 needs to finish Check Your Progress on page 62, problems 12-22. We will check this work before taking our math test tomorrow.
